Welcome to the Stowaway cottage! This adorable cottage is a three bedroom two and a half bath home approximately 1,800 sq. ft with two stories. You will walk into a spacious living room with plenty of seating and a Flat Screen TV/DVD player. The kitchen and dining area are also in this area and overlook the living room to make socializing simple! The master bedroom with a private bathroom and access to the outside patio area is also located on the ground floor. The laundry room with brand new washer and dryer, and a half bath are also on the first floor. Enjoy patio access from the hall and master bedroom. Top floor features two bedrooms with balcony access as well as a large bathroom. In one bedroom there are two full beds. The other bedroom features a King bed. Both of these bedrooms have access to the second floor balcony.

There are two pools in this subdivision one is only a 1/2 block away and the other is about a block walk towards the beach. As if the home isn't good enough Emerald Shores also has its own PRIVATE beach access as well as beach restrooms and pavilion!! Tram service runs during peak seasons in case the sun and sand have worn you down! Capt Dave’s on the Gulf & Kenny D’s are restaurant/bars within walking distance to The Stowaway Cottage. Crab Trap is a little farther down, but would be a fairly easy walk for the family to make to enjoy some other dinner fare! This home has internet and is conveniently located in the Miramar Beach area of Destin about 1.5 miles East of the Destin Commons and Bass Pro Shop. Enjoy everything Destin has to offer from this easily accessible subdivision which has a Scenic and Hwy entrance!

What to do besides enjoy our wonderful beach... Should you wish to explore what the local area has to offer, you'll find an abundance of choices. Sidewalks line scenic 98 for walking, running or bike riding. We are a short 2 mile drive to the Silver Sands mall to the West, or luxury shopping at Destin Commons to the East. Kenny D's, The Crab Trap, and Pompano Joe's are all within walking distance to The Stowaway Cottage. We encourage you to leave menus of your favorite restaurants when you come. For evening entertainment, Destin is known for some wonderfully upscale eateries, as well as your regular fare. Friendly night life and nearby state of the art movie theater.

The Silver Sands Outlet Mall is a vacation in it’s own right for shoppers you will have access to over 100 stores, including, Polo, Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, Brooks Brothers, Eddie Bauer, Liz Claiborne, Tommy Hilfiger, Lenox, Nike and Reebok - just to name a few. When you need to pause for nourishment choose from Panera Bread, Cheeseburger in Paradise or Carrabba's Italian Grill.

More great shopping can be found at the Destin Commons outdoor mall. Enjoy such great stores as Abercrombie & Fitch, Ann Taylor Loft, Banana Republic, Belk, Books-A-Million & Maui Nix Surf Shop to rattle off a few. Stop for a bite to eat at the Hard Rock Café, Panera Bread, Tony’s Ristorante or Sushi Siam.
